Used clothing bales for importers in DR Congo (Matadi)
Kinshasa's friperie markets, such as UPN and Liberté, are supplied with bales from Europe that arrive through Matadi and travel on by the Matadi–Kinshasa road; a 50 kg bale of sweaters is commonly called a “médium” (ACP, July 2026). Tell us your categories, grade and container, and we reply with a written offer.

Imports of USD 2,500 FOB or more need a pre-shipment inspection by Bureau Veritas (BIVAC) on behalf of the OCC, and an import licence obtained through an authorised commercial bank on the basis of the proforma invoice; all documents must be in French. Shipments also need a FERI cargo tracking note before loading. Confirm current requirements with the OCC, the DGDA and your forwarder.
This information is for orientation only. Import rules change; confirm current requirements with the competent authority and your clearing agent before ordering.
