Salaula bales for importers in Zambia
In Zambia second-hand clothing is called salaula. Zambia is landlocked, so containers reach buyers through a coastal gateway — usually Dar es Salaam or Beira — and an inland corridor. Tell us your categories, grade, bale weights and preferred route.

Import rules to check
Zambia's compulsory standard ZS 559, enforced under Statutory Instrument No. 120 of 2006, bans the importation and sale of second-hand underwear and sleepwear (pyjamas, nightgowns, briefs, brassieres, camisoles and vests). These items are excluded from every load. Confirm current requirements with the Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency and your clearing agent.
